THE STORY OF URBAN JADE
We are a small online store based in Sydney with a passion for creating stylish, aromatic candles without negatively impacting the environment.
All ingredients and packaging for our candles are carefully selected based on their materials. From the packaging of our supplies to the sustainable practices used in the manufacturing process, Urban Jade strives to create affordable candles without harming the environment.
Urban Jade proudly uses recycled and/or compostable packaging.
Our soy wax contains no additives, is biodegradable, vegan and sustainable.
Our recycled paper 'thank you' cards contain seeds embedded within the recycled paper. When the paper is planted the paper decomposes and the seeds grow.
When you have finished burning your candle we encourage reusing your recycled glass jar as a makeup brush holder, vase or storage container.

OUR PACKAGING
Urban Jade Proudly uses recycled and compostable packaging from Noissue.
Noissue was founded to provide sustainable packaging. The noissue difference is characterised by their commitment to sustainability for all products.
The plastic is processed at a recycling facility and put back into circulation, thus doubling its lifespan.
Compostable packaging is typically made from a number of renewable plant-based materials and/or bio-polymers.
While most packaging is typically single use, and recycled after it accomplishes its primary goal, reusable packaging can be used multiple times for a variety of functions.
